Apprenticeships give people the opportunity to train, gain qualifications and pursue a skilled, long-term career.
CBL have recently employed one apprentice at every centre and all are attending Wiltshire College at Lackham, following a three-year apprenticeship backed by the National Apprenticeship Scheme. Both CITB and the new Government Levy scheme assist CBL with the financial commitment to this huge investment in both people and the future.
Graham Cook, CBL Group Service Manager, says, ‘We believe training apprentices will provide great value, both to CBL and the apprentices, and will nurture new talent for our industry. By investing in the next generation of engineers, we are helping to maintain our industry into the future.’
As part of our commitment to their ongoing development, we have supplied each apprentice with a comprehensive tool kit.
