For 2022, CBL asked employees to nominate local charities they support and donations of £500 have now been made to:
The Lullaby Trust, nominated by Andrew Holman from CBL Bridgend. The trust works to reduce the incidence of baby cot deaths (SIDS) - raising funds for research and providing support for bereaved families. Emma Willis, Fundraising Assistant, said, 'First of all, thank you so much for thinking of us here at the Lullaby Trust. We are totally funded by donations and this £500 will go a long way to helping us do our work.'
Julia's House, nominated by Richard Sturgess, CBL Sales Director. The charity is a children's hospice located in Corfe Mullen, Dorset, England and Devizes, Wiltshire and isn't a typical children’s hospice. They provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, providing frequent and regular support in their own homes, in the community or at our hospices.
The Ocean Conservation Trust in Plymouth’s national marine aquarium, nominated by Andy Gibbins from CBL Maidstone.
The Olive Tree Cancer Support Group, nominated by Kevin Clark from CBL Crawley The group provides a range of services to support people with cancer from the point of diagnosis, through their treatment and beyond.
